We also draft responses to government consultation documents on behalf of businesses. We have considerable experience in ensuring companies meet the requirements of the legislation that governs them.

Diane Williams established The Capital Partnership at the start of 2002. Prior to that, she worked for 17 years at Capital Bank, one of the UK’s leading finance houses, in a number of departments, before setting up an in-house compliance department in 1996.

With the integration of Capital Bank into Bank of Scotland, she became responsible for Consumer Credit Act and Data Protection Act compliance for the Bank of Scotland Group.

In 2001 she worked for a short time as Head of Compliance at Callcredit plc, the consumer credit reference agency.

After establishing The Capital Partnership, she also acted as Principal Consultant on Credit & Data Policy at the Finance & Leasing Association from 2002 until 2007.

Diane holds the ISEB certificate in Data Protection and a degree in Japanese and politics. She was one of the original members of the North West Fraud Forum Steering Group.
